Unauthenticated file disclosure via XXE
Published Aug 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
XML external entity processing in Altova MobileTogether Server before 7.3 SP1 allows remote attackers to read server files and disrupt service via crafted XML requests. The /workflowmanagement InfoSetChanges/Changes handlers resolve attacker-controlled external entities, exposing mobiletogetherserver.cfg and potentially certificate and private-key material. The network attack requires no authentication or user interaction; confidentiality and availability are affected, while integrity impact is not reported.
