Stored XSS in Chatwoot before 2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript by uploading an SVG profile avatar. The Avatarable concern accepted attached avatars without a content-type allowlist, causing image/svg+xml content to be stored and served as an avatar. A victim must open the avatar in a new page, where the embedded payload runs in the victim's browser and can read or modify data available to that session.
