Post-reboot service interruption via invalid serial number
Published Jul 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
HTML injection in Furukawa Electric LatAm 423-41W/AC before 1.1.4 and LD421-21W before 1.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to alter web content. The web interface's serial number update function accepts arbitrary HTML tags without neutralizing them, and an invalid serial number disrupts the device after reboot. Exploitation requires high-privileged authentication and user interaction; reported effects are altered interface content and post-reboot service interruption.
