Unauthenticated code execution via concatenated SQL parameter
Published Aug 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in SEACMS 210530 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the v_name parameter in admin_ajax.php. The checkrepeat action concatenates v_name into a database query passed to DB_MySQL::GetOne, bypassing the routine's SQL statement checks. The endpoint is remotely reachable without authentication, and successful injection grants arbitrary code execution on the server.
