Stored XSS via unrestricted SVG avatar upload
Published Oct 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Laravel Booking System Booking Core 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a profile viewer's browser. The profile avatar upload accepts an SVG containing JavaScript and later serves it as viewable profile content without neutralizing the script. Another user or administrator must click the attacker's avatar, after which the script runs in that viewer's browser context.
