CVE-2021-3731Network attack vector

Unintended user actions via cross-site framing

Published Aug 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Clickjacking in LedgerSMB 1.1.0 through 1.8.17 allows remote attackers to induce unintended actions through cross-site framing. Application responses lack sufficient anti-framing protection, so an attacker-controlled page can invisibly overlay elements on the LedgerSMB interface. Exploitation requires a targeted user to visit that page and interact with the disguised interface; resulting actions execute within the user's active session.
