Authenticated arbitrary file read via page traversal
Published Apr 11, 2022 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Path traversal in index.php in KevinLAB 4ST L-BEMS 1.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files via the page parameter. The script passes the page GET value to a file-include operation without verifying that the resolved path remains in the intended directory. A valid session is required, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the web application on the BEMS host.
