Deserialization of untrusted data in Siemens Desigo CC allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute code via CCOM client connections. The CCOM communication component deserializes attacker-controlled data without sufficient validation when serving Windows App or IE XBAP clients. Internet exposure enables direct attack, while systems reachable only on a local network require network access; regular installed and HTML5 Flex clients are not affected.
