XML external entity injection in Siemens Solid Edge SE2021 before SE2021MP7 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via crafted XML. The underlying XML parser resolves attacker-controlled external entity references when it loads the document, exposing referenced local file content. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file in Solid Edge; the documented consequence is host-file disclosure.
