Restricted-directory access via unvalidated crafted filename
Published Oct 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Huawei FusionCube 6.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to access locations outside a restricted directory. FusionCube's pathname construction logic uses a supplied filename without sufficient validation against the restricted parent directory. Administrative access and the ability to place a crafted filename in a device message are required; the disclosed consequence is directory-boundary bypass.
