Unauthenticated file disclosure via insufficient URI validation
Published Jan 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Huawei HarmonyOS 2.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through crafted URI requests. The affected URI-processing logic does not strictly validate file paths, allowing traversal segments to escape the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is confidentiality loss without integrity or availability impact.
