Configuration defects in EMUI 10.0.0 and 10.1.0 and Magic UI 3.0.0 and 3.1.0 allow attackers to elevate MEID/IMEI permission. Huawei has not published the affected component or the incorrect configuration operation that grants the elevated permission. The public vendor bulletin identifies no prerequisite or required user action and limits the disclosed consequence to an elevated MEID/IMEI permission boundary.
