CVE-2021-37104

Restricted-resource access via message parameter SSRF

Published Sep 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Server-side request forgery in Huawei HUAWEI P40 10.1.0.118(C00E116R3P3) allows remote attackers to access restricted resources via crafted messages. The affected message handler insufficiently validates parameters before issuing server-side requests, allowing attacker-controlled destinations to reach resources outside the intended trust boundary. An attacker on an adjacent network must induce processing of a crafted message; the reported impact is unauthorized resource access without integrity or availability effects.
