CVE-2021-37028

Administrator command execution via malformed CLI input

Published Aug 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

OS command injection in Huawei EchoLife HG8045Q V300R016C00SPC110 and V300R018C10 allows remote authenticated users to run BusyBox commands. The maintenance command-line interface improperly processes crafted input and permits BusyBox commands outside its restricted command set. Exploitation requires administrator access from an adjacent network and an enabled command-line interface, which is disabled by default.
