Published Nov 24, 2021 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Improper access control in MINBO QRE SRL's WordPress security plugin through 6.2.3 allows remote attackers to deactivate the plugin. The die_message() function, registered on admin_init, returns the reset token without checking authorization, and a second request accepts the token to deactivate the plugin. No account or user interaction is required; successful exploitation disables the site's security plugin without altering WordPress content.
