CVE-2021-36848Network attack vector

Admin-level browser script execution via insufficient sanitization

Published Apr 11, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in Social Media Feather 2.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through plugin input. Public sources do not identify the affected field or code path, stating only that unspecified input and output lacked sufficient sanitization. Administrator privileges are required to store the payload, and execution requires another user to view the affected output, allowing script-driven changes in that user's browser context.
