Password-reset spoofing in Akaunting 2.1.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset user passwords through crafted requests. The /auth/forgot handler trusts an attacker-controlled Host header when composing the emailed reset URL, directing its token to an attacker-controlled server. Exploitation requires a known or guessed account email and a recipient who follows the poisoned link; the captured token enables account takeover.
