Denial of service in uBlock Origin before 1.36.2 and ηMatrix before 4.4.9 allows remote attackers to disable blocking via a crafted URL. The strict-blocking warning page passes URL-valued query parameters back into renderParams without tracking or limiting recursive depth. A direct navigation to a blocked crafted URL is required; repeated nesting consumes memory and can crash the extension in Chrome, leaving browser traffic unfiltered until reload.
