Database disclosure via unsanitized category rewrite
Published Aug 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Prestahome Blog before 1.7.8 for PrestaShop allows remote attackers to extract database data via sb_category. The list controller accepts sb_category without sanitization, and getByRewrite concatenates it into a DbQuery WHERE clause. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the module's list endpoint must be reachable; the demonstrated consequence is database disclosure.
