Cross-site scripting in Apache Portals' Pluto MVCBean JSP archetype 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to run script via name fields. The generated greeting.jspx inserts user.firstName and user.lastName into HTML without applying the MVC encoder. Exploitation requires a project generated from the affected archetype and a user to view the crafted output, allowing script execution in that user's browser.
