Stored script execution via unescaped content fields
Published Feb 3, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Gurock TestRail before 7.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. Milestone reference values and report description values are stored and later rendered without neutralizing attacker-supplied HTML or script. An authenticated account must place the payload and another user must view the affected milestone or report, exposing data or actions available to that viewer.
