Account takeover via password-hash authentication

Improper authentication in VeryFitPro 3.2.8 allows attackers possessing a password hash to take over accounts via backend API login requests. The mobile app hashes passwords locally with SHA-1 and sends that hash for login, registration, and password changes, while the backend compares the supplied hash directly with its stored value. An attacker must first obtain a hash through exposure, sniffing, or another compromise, after which the attacker can impersonate the account and change its password.
