Browser script execution via unescaped redirect parameter
Published Dec 15, 2021 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Verint Workforce Optimization 15.2.8.10048 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. The control/my_notifications endpoint forwards an attacker-controlled NEWUINAV value into the sign-in redirect parameter without neutralizing executable markup. A victim must open the crafted URL and submit a username; the script then executes in the browser and can read browser-accessible cookies.
