CVE-2021-36382

Private-key disclosure via cleartext endpoint response

Published Jul 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Cleartext transmission in Devolutions Server before 2021.1.18 and LTS before 2020.3.21 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept private keys. The connections/partial endpoint returns private keys without encrypting them, exposing response contents to interception. Exploitation requires a network position capable of intercepting traffic and an installation without TLS; TLS prevents the disclosure.
