Privilege escalation in Dell Solutions Enabler Virtual Appliance before 9.2.3.1 allows local users to gain privileged appliance access. The shipped appliance image contains undocumented user accounts with unnecessary privileges, but Dell has not disclosed their names or authentication path. Exploitation requires existing local low-privileged access and grants privileged access beyond the intended authorization boundary.
