Account impersonation via reusable expired session artifacts
Published Nov 30, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Insufficient session expiration in Dell Streaming Data Platform before 1.3 allows remote attackers to impersonate legitimate users. The session-management implementation continues to accept old session artifacts after they should no longer authorize requests, but Dell has not disclosed the affected endpoint or code locus. Unauthenticated network access and possession of a previously issued artifact are required; successful reuse grants the access of the artifact's legitimate user.
