Improper input validation in Dell Client Platform BIOS before 1.13.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code in SMRAM via an SMI. Dell identifies an SMI as the entry point but has not published the affected handler or the input-validation operation that accepts untrusted values. Successful exploitation requires local authenticated access with high privileges and places attacker-controlled code in protected System Management RAM.
