Improper input validation in Dell Client Platform BIOS before 1.13.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code in SMRAM via an SMI. Dell identifies an SMI as the trigger but has not disclosed the affected handler, input field, or validation error. High-privilege local access is required, and successful exploitation crosses the operating-system boundary to run code in protected SMRAM.
