Remote service crash via crafted UWSGI request path
Published Sep 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in mod_proxy_uwsgi in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.30 through 2.4.48 allows remote attackers to crash server processes. Apache has not published the exact faulty operation beyond mod_proxy_uwsgi reading past allocated memory while processing a crafted URI path. The module must be loaded and configured to proxy UWSGI traffic; the resulting process crash can interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
