Resource exhaustion in gRPC Swift's LengthPrefixedMessageReader before 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to deny service via crafted messages. LengthPrefixedMessageReader allocates a buffer from a peer-supplied message length without enforcing the permitted receive limit. Unauthenticated network access to an affected client or server is sufficient, and excessive memory allocation can make that process unavailable.
