Authenticated command execution via crafted configuration string
Published Mar 21, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
OS command injection in affected OTRS products allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands. The vulnerable configuration path forwards a specially crafted string into operating-system command execution without neutralizing command syntax. Exploitation requires high privileges, user interaction, and a high-complexity path; successful attacks compromise the server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0.x <=7.0.32
