CVE-2021-36061Network attack vector

Recording modification or deletion via pbMode bypass

Published Sep 1, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Secure design violation in Adobe Connect 11.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to edit or delete recordings via pbMode. The pbMode parameter permits an unauthenticated recording-link request to invoke recording edit or deletion operations without enforcing the intended authorization boundary. A victim must first publish a link to an Adobe Connect recording; the documented impact is limited to modification or deletion of recordings.
