Published Sep 1, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
XML injection in Adobe Commerce Widgets Module 2.4.2, 2.4.2-p1, and 2.3.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. Adobe has not disclosed the Widgets Module code path or how it processes the crafted script to cause XML injection. Administrative access to a network-reachable Commerce instance is required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary code in the server context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
