Administrator RCE via crafted data-collection upload
Published Sep 1, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
OS command injection in Adobe Commerce 2.4.2, 2.4.2-p1, and 2.3.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The data collection endpoint fails to neutralize operating-system command elements in a specially crafted uploaded file. Administrative privileges and endpoint access are required; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled code on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
