Browser script execution via reflected preview path
Published Sep 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.0 through 18.0.32 on Linux allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via site preview links. The /plesk-site-preview/ handler places an attacker-controlled path segment into the generated preview page without neutralizing executable markup. No authentication is required, but a victim must open the crafted preview link; script execution is confined to the preview origin rather than the Plesk panel.
