Authenticated script execution via unneutralized settings fields
Published Jun 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in the embedded webserver of AKCP sensorProbe before SP480-20210624 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript. The System Settings, Email Settings, and Sensor Description handlers store crafted field values and render them without neutralizing browser-executable markup. An authenticated account can plant a payload that runs in another user's browser when an affected configuration page is viewed, enabling actions or data access in that user's session.
