CVE-2021-35653Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Sensitive data disclosure via unrestricted administration commands

Published Oct 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 25, 2024

Data disclosure in Essbase Administration Services before 11.1.2.4.046 and before 21.3 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data. The EAS Console accepts an op parameter naming server-side administration commands and lets non-administrators invoke ExportDB and file-download operations without enforcing administrator authorization. Any authenticated non-administrator can export the user database, including stored administrator passwords, list server directories, and read arbitrary server files.
