A buffer overflow in Data Node job processing in Oracle MySQL Cluster allows attackers to take over the affected cluster. Data Node job processing copies user-supplied data into a buffer without first validating its length, enabling an out-of-bounds write. Oracle's assessment requires a high-privileged attacker on an adjacent physical communication segment and human interaction by another person.
