Stack-based buffer overflow in Oracle MySQL Cluster affected releases allows attackers to take over the cluster through Data Node jobs. Data Node job processing copies attacker-controlled data into a stack-based buffer without validating its length, enabling service-account code execution. Oracle's assessment requires high privileges, access to the adjacent physical communication segment, high attack complexity, and interaction by another person.
