Code execution via out-of-bounds array access
Published Oct 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Improper array-index validation in Oracle MySQL Cluster allows attackers to execute code through crafted Data Node jobs. Data Node job processing uses attacker-controlled data as an array index without bounds validation, permitting access past the array end. Oracle requires high privileges, adjacent-network access, and interaction by another person; ZDI instead reports unauthenticated service-account execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
