Sensitive-data disclosure via incorrect Kerberos principal selection
Published Oct 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Incorrect Kerberos ticket use in Oracle Java SE 8u301, 11.0.12, and 17 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data. During Kerberos constrained delegation, the Libraries component selects the wrong principal and uses a ticket under an unintended identity. Exploitation requires low-privileged Kerberos access plus another person's interaction, or an application that passes attacker-controlled data to the affected API.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
