A flaw in Oracle Database 12.2.0.1, 19c, and 21c allows remote authenticated users with DBA privileges to alter data or halt service. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the RDBMS Security component and has not disclosed the faulty operation or triggering input. Exploitation requires Oracle Net access and DBA privileges; successful attacks can update, insert, or delete some accessible data and hang or repeatedly crash the component.
