Denial of service in Oracle VM VirtualBox Core before 6.1.28 allows local users with high privileges to hang or crash the hypervisor. Oracle identifies the affected component only as Core and has not disclosed the faulty code path or operation that triggers the failure. Successful exploitation requires high privileges and a host logon, and the reported consequence is limited to interruption of VirtualBox availability.
