Ruby code injection in Narou before 3.8.0 allows attackers controlling novel metadata to execute code through a title or author name. The converter.rb.erb template embeds the title and author directly inside a generated Ruby block comment, so crafted line breaks and comment delimiters terminate the comment and introduce executable Ruby. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled metadata to reach the conversion workflow; injected code runs with the privileges of the Narou process.
