Stored script execution via visual console name
Published Jun 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in the visual console in Pandora FMS 7.54 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The visual-console name field stores an attacker-supplied payload without neutralizing active markup and renders it when the console is opened. A logged-in user must create the crafted console and another user or administrator must view it, enabling script execution in that viewer's session.
