Administrative access via stored cross-site scripting
Published Oct 26, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in TIBCO Nimbus Web Reporting 10.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. TIBCO has not published the affected input, storage path, or output-encoding failure that causes persisted content to execute in a viewer's browser. Low-privilege access can plant the content, but exploitation requires another network-connected user to view it; an administrator victim can expose full administrative control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
