Cross-site scripting in TIBCO WebFOCUS components through 8207.27.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via network requests. Stored and reflected input is rendered without adequate escaping in WebFOCUS web components, enabling script execution in a legitimate user's browser. The attack requires low-privileged access and another person's interaction, and a privileged victim can suffer administrative compromise of the affected or local system.
