Browser script execution via quick-command input
Published Dec 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Thruk before 2.44 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted quick command. The vendor identifies the quick-command feature as the locus but has not disclosed the affected parameter or faulty input-handling operation. Exploitation requires command privileges and another user's interaction with the stored content, after which attacker-controlled script runs in that user's browser.
