Unauthenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Feb 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Directory traversal in the /file endpoint of Solari di Udine TermTalk Server 3.24.0.2 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via HTTP. The endpoint accepts a relative path in the valore parameter and serves files outside the intended directory without restricting traversal sequences. No authentication or user interaction is required, so exposed servers permit remote disclosure of operating-system or application files; integrity and availability impacts are not reported.
