Administrator authentication bypass via cookie tampering
Published Oct 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
PTCL HG150-Ub v3.0 authentication bypass allows remote attackers to access the administrator panel via modified cookies and Response Path. The administrator authentication panel accepts attacker-controlled cookie values and Response Path data without correctly validating the authenticated session. Network access to the modem management interface is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants administrator access; the public record does not document a separate requirement for user interaction or prior privileges.
